How old do I have to be to get a tattoo?
You need to be at least 18 years old!
We do not accept permission slips from parents or legal guardians of minors.
We do not believe a minor should make a decision as permanent as getting a tattoo.
When you're of legal age and you still want that tattoo, we are here for you.
Is getting a tattoo painful?
Getting a tattoo can be uncomfortable. After all, it involves tiny needles working on your skin.
However, the level of pain varies greatly depending on the placement, size and your personal pain tolerance.
That said, the discomfort is usually manageable, and most people find it far less intense than they expected.
Our artists are not only experienced in their craft, but also in making sure you feel as comfortable and supported as possible throughout the entire process. If you're feeling anxious, that's completely normal and you're not alone. We're here to guide you, answer your questions, and make the experience as smooth and positive as possible.
In the end, the momentary discomfort is well worth the lifelong piece of art you walk away with.
Do you take Walk-Ins?
Yes we do! Monday - Friday from 12-6pm. Custom & Flash welcome! Feel free to just swing by also if you have any questions and/or would just like to talk about your tattoo ideas. Someone is always here to help you out and take care of you.
Are Tattoos expensive?
A tattoo is more than just ink on skin — it's a piece of art created by a professional who has dedicated years to mastering their craft. Like any form of craftsmanship, quality comes with experience, precision, and passion. Keep in mind that a tattoo is permanent. It's something you'll carry with you for life. Choosing a skilled artist ensures not only a beautiful result, but also a safe and hygienic experience.

While quality tattoos may come at a higher price, it's never worth cutting corners when it comes to your body and health. Think of it this way: you're not just paying for a tattoo, you're investing in a lifelong piece of art, custom-designed and carefully applied by someone who takes their work seriously.

Good tattoos aren’t cheap, and cheap tattoos aren’t good.
Can I bring someone in with me to my appointment?
Our studio space is limited so we kindly ask you to show up to your appointment alone. If however you feel anxious or nervous about your appointment you can bring someone - they’re welcome to stay in the Café in the front. The studio space is strictly clients only. Thank you for understanding!
Do I need to pay a deposit for my tattoo?
Yes, most artists require a deposit to secure your appointment.
Prices for deposits usually range between 50-150€.
These deposits are non-refundable. This ensures that in case of a cancellation, our artist will still get paid for their invested time. The deposit will be deducted from the final price of your tattoo
If you'd like to reschedule ahead of time with enough notice that´s usually not a problem.
Can I pay for my tattoo with card?
No, we're cash only.
But there is an ATM nearby at the station 'Rathaus Neukölln'.
If ATM isn't an option for you make sure to bring cash with you.
Some artists also accept PayPal but please reach out to them beforehand if you're having any troubles with cash.
Can I get my tattoo touched up?
Yes! You can always get a free touch up once your tattoo is healed and settled (6-8 weeks).
That is within the first year though. If the span of this year has passed, you should expect to pay for the next session. Not as much as getting an actual new tattoo done but it will not be for free as we do not consider this to be a touch up anymore.
Do you do Cover-ups?
Yes we do! However that requires more planning than a usual tattoo session. So if you’d like to cover-up a tattoo of yours just contact us or come by the studio and we’ll see what we can do. Please keep in mind that sometimes this can be a bit more complex and that the new tattoo probably has to be bigger than the original one in order to cover it properly.
How do I take care of my new tattoo?
Your artist will be happy to talk you through the healing process and how to take care of your fresh tattoo properly in order to ensure the best possible results.
Since every tattoo is done with a slightly different technique, the aftercare might be a little different for each artist as well.
One thing they all have in common however is: Avoid any heavy sport for first couple of days / weeks.
No Swimming, Sauna, Saltwater etc. for the first 14 days.
Keep the tattoo out of direct sunlight until it’s fully healed, and then always use a strong sunblock afterwards and in the future.
Even after your tattoo is healed, using skin moisturizer is a good idea and will bring out the best look for your tattoo and the continued regeneration of the skin.
How do I prepare for my tattoo appointment?
A good nights sleep as well as a good meal beforehand go a long way.
No alcohol and/or partying the night before. Feel free to bring any kind of snacks & drinks that you feel will help you get through the session - Our Café Asbury Park Coffee also happily provides you with a broad variety of freshly baked (vegan) goods as well as delicious coffee.
Feel free to also bring headphones to your session so you can dip into your own world if you like. Also comfortable clothes and/or clothes that ensure your comfort while still enabling access to the placement of the tattoo.
